Tabletop Wargaming with Warhammer 40k
Although it often seems that our work roles define us, we here at Courtyard Artistry prefer to think that it’s the things that we do in our personal lives that really express who we are. After all, only some of us are lucky enough to do what we love all day – and even then, it gets tiring on the tools! Especially in this modern age where the constant pressures of trying to maintain a manageable work/life balance have resulted in in a dramatic rise in the number of mental health issues people are struggling with on a daily basis. Our own personal experience of burnout and depression was an eye opening time that raised awareness, not only of mental health issues, but of the importance of successfully managing that balance though the inclusion of fun, relaxing activities that encourage engagement, a sense of belonging and commitment.
As such, this page (and the associated sub pages) is dedicated to showcasing the weird and wonderful things that we like to make in the workshop at home as we engage in our preferred hobby, tabletop wargaming. It has been incredibly therapeutic assembling our collection and we’d love to be able to share it with you, and hopefully inspire you to take up a relaxing hobby of your own.
If you are looking for our traditional products and services, it’s probably best to return to the menu at this point – but if you’re into wargaming and Warhammer 40k, we have a treat in store for you!!
We love to support local business and when we find an organisation that really does provide great customer service we want to let others know! When we need foliage, flock or water crafting supplies, we go to Mark and the team at My Hobby Shop at Unit 3/144 Winton Road, Joondalup. They’re open 7 days a week, ship Australia wide and have just brought in a fantastic new range of acrylic paints for gamers.
